David Bartelme

Founder

A dynamic leader, David brings a wealth of experience from diverse roles as a C-suite executive, entrepreneur, and investor. Before founding Endura, David co-founded Borgman Capital, a lower middle market private equity firm focused on the manufacturing and food and beverage sectors. Prior to that, he was on Shell’s corporate development team, contributing to over fifty mergers and acquisitions in the energy sector, spanning both domestic and international markets. David’s professional journey began as a chemical engineer in the energy and chemical processing industries, where he held managerial roles for over a decade.

David was raised in a family-owned metal fabrication and machining business—instilling in him a strong sense of responsibility for preserving a business’s legacy while prioritizing the well-being of its employees. Now, deeply passionate about developing the next generation of business leaders, David is an adjunct professor at Marquette University, where he empowers his students with the technical knowledge, professional skills, and personal growth strategies needed to thrive in both business and life.

David holds an MBA from the University of Alberta and a BSE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington. He enjoys Crossfit and anything that gets him outdoors with his wife, Valerie, and their two daughters.
